During The Ocean Race 2023, Team Malizia deployed an Argo float from Malizia–Seaexplorer to collect valuable ocean data from a remote region. The deployment contributed to the wider effort to improve observations of the ocean and support climate research. Read the article

Adopt a float programme

The UK Argo Programme has joined the Adopt a Float initiative, connecting Argo ocean observations with schools, students and the wider public. Through the programme, participants can follow an individual Argo float, learn about its journey and discover how ocean observations help us understand climate change and the health of our oceans.
